LEAGUE RULES
LEAGUE PLAY:
Each team will play 13 league games. Any league games not completed by
July 16th will count as a loss for both teams. This means that teams
have all of July 16th to complete games.
REPORTING SCORES:
The WINNING team will report the results of the LEAGUE GAME WITHIN 24
HOURS.
Use the reporting form on the
"Report Your Score" link above. If for some reason, you are unable
to get to a computer, you can report your score by calling League
Commissioner Mike Castagnoli at (402) 612-1949.
League standings and scores will be emailed daily during the season and
posted on the "Standings" link above.
LEAGUE GAME TIME AND INNINGS:
All league games will be scheduled for 7 innings or 2 hours, whichever
occurs first. No new inning will start after two hours unless there is a
tie. In the case of a tie, the game will be played out until a winner is
determined. We play regular baseball, no other rules may be applied in
extra inning games. In the case of bad weather, a game is complete after
4 1/2 innings if the home team is ahead. 5 innings if the home team is
behind.
RUN RULE:
A game is complete if one
team is ahead by 10 runs after 5 innings.
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY:
Teams may carry up to 4 player who are sixteen years old. No player may
reach the age of 17 before August 1, 2009. Other than this rule all
other players must be 15 years old or younger.
