Collin-Orcutt All-Star Game

Forty Metro Area ballplayers from the graduating class of 2009 have been selected to participate in the 37th Annual Collin-Orcutt All-Star Game to be played on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th, at Seymour Smith Park, 69th and Harrison Streets, beginning at 12:00pm.   The game features the top seniors in the Omaha Metro Area and is hosted by American Legion Post #1 to honor the memory of two long-time area Legion baseball coaches, Cornie Collin and Scotty Orcutt.  The players are selected by area coaches to participate in the game.  The Collin team will be coached by Bryan's Mike Demilia and Mike Filipowicz of Gross. Jerry Frerichs of Elkhorn and Central assistant Joe Benes will skipper the Orcutt squad.  Let's have a great turnout on the 25th to honor the high school careers of these outstanding ballplayers.

Cranking Up for Summer Ball.  We've added a link on the Main Menu called "Summer Teams."  Basically, we're going to wrap the current version of this website around the LeagueLineup application that we've used the past three years.  If you have been a Team Reporter for your team in the past and would like to continue to do so again this summer, please click on that link, which will take you to the League Lineup component that we're now calling the "Summer Teams Database."  If you remember your username and password, please go ahead and log in.  We've cleared the 2008 info, so you can start entering schedules and rosters immediately.  Just send an email to admin@metropreps.com to let us know that you'll be handling the Team Reporter duties for your team again this year.

If you don't remember your username and password, just send an email to admin@metropreps.com, and we'll get you set up.  If you haven't been a Team Reporter in the past but would like to do so, please use the "Online Forms" link on the Database Menu and select the "Team Reporter Information" link.

Important Notice:  Class B and Class C Legion (Juniors and Seniors) statewide are invited to use this site as well.
